When pondering on what to name my blog.... I thought & thought.... and the color yellow came to me!! A dear friend that has gone to be with the Lord (the color yellow that reminds US of her beautiful and bright smile) gave me the inspiration for the theme . In memory of a wonderful friend.

Wedding Bliss :)

The Bouquets

My Aunt Jeannie Morley and J. Jay's Aunt Susan Rhodes did the flowers. I knew once the two of them meet each other they would hit it off and their creative juices would start flowing... I sat down with them the day before and explained my ideas for arrangements and bouquets...and I can honestly say that they knew EXACTLY what I wanted!!! I could not have been more pleased with the flowers :)

Bride's Bouquet
The Bride carried a large handheld bouquet of white calla lilies with bear grass with a double collar of green cymbidium orchids French wrapped in Italian satin ribbon with a crystal P attached

I love cymbidium orchids and alway knew that I wanted them in my bouquet.

My Aunt Jeannie !

Bridesmaid's Bouquets

They carried handhelds of white chrysanthemums with lime green buttons, green hypericum coffee beans, pittisporum, and peacock feathers. Their bouquets were wrapped around the base with black and white damask ribbon...(my favorite accent)

Boutonnieres

Groom
The Groom's boutonniere was a white miniature calla lily with green hypericum coffee beans and a peacock feather wrapped in black satin plaid ribbon.

Groomsmen

The groomsmen wore boutonnieres made of peacock feathers with a green button and green hypericum coffee beans wrapped in black satin plaid ribbon.

The Groom, Groomsmen and Ring Bearer wore black tuxedos as suits with sage green satin ties with mini white polka dots.

Reception Decor
(We enjoyed our reception at the Ozark Country Club)

My Mom, myself, Rebecca Everett, Erica Brown & some of my Bridesmaids did all the decorations on that Thursday before the wedding... I had a vision of how I wanted everything (so i knew I needed to be there for the decorations) My aunts did the final touches as well as the flowers at the reception.

Entrance Doors

The entrance doors featured black feather wreaths with antique wrought iron pedestals on each side holding arrangements of Bells of Ireland, Victorian and sage green roses, spray roses, green dianthus, lime hypericum coffee beans, ruscus, variegated pittisporum, calla lilies, green fugis, seeded eucalyptus and peacock feathers along with white chrysanthemums and green granny smith apples for a collar.

The gift table featured a black wooden finial picture scape with various black and white photos of the couple with candles. Glass torch vases with various peacock feathers lined black linen table cloths with a black burlap runner featuring the couples' initials monogramed in white. Ivory linen cardstock was provided for guests to write well wishes to the couple. This area was accented by a large black, white and green "P" hanging from stain ribbons.

The ballroom ceiling was filled with various sizes of white, green and black lanterns hanging at various heights to create a romantic atmosphere.  Chairs were dressed with white linen covered tied with sage green sheer bows and peacock feathers while the guest tables featured black linen cloths with black and white damask table runners with torch vases of green apples, black wooden final Beanstalk Originals picture scapes with various black and white photos of the couple along with candles.
