When pondering on what to name my blog.... I thought & thought.... and the color yellow came to me!! A dear friend that has gone to be with the Lord (the color yellow that reminds US of her beautiful and bright smile) gave me the inspiration for the theme . In memory of a wonderful friend.

Hair Repair


I thought that I would share with all of you my hair ritual everyday :) For those of you that have dry, wavy/curly hair, colored, & straighten it everyday.... PAY ATTENTION!!  

*These are some of the products that I have found to do the trick for my CRAZY hair...and I have tried a lot. So I figured I would share them with you!

This stuff is AMAZING... you put it on while your hair is wet and it makes such a difference to help keep your hair from getting frizzy as well as helps with fly aways and most importantly helps fight HUMIDITY!!!!!!!


BioSilk Silk Therapy
( I buy mine at TJ Maxx because it is A LOT cheaper)

What I call "miracle in a bottle" I always put this on my hair after it is styled right before I spray it with hairspray. It helps smooth your and give it great shine!

Mmmmm.... 
Chicken & Rice Casserole 

*this is not the best picture..... but PROMISE it's delicious*
(THE HUBBY'S FAVORITE) 

Grocery List:

1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 pieces of chicken tenders - seasoned
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
2 tablespoons pimento 
1 small can sliced mushroom & juice
1 pkg. onion soup mix (dry)
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 bell pepper

Directions: 

In a 3 quart casserole dish melt butter, add rice, pimento and chopped bell pepper and mushrooms. Lay chicken pieces on rice. Spoon soup over chicken. Sprinkle onion soup mix over all. Cover with water. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Remove foil the last 15 minutes to let chicken brown. 

ENJOY!!!!

  1. I love those SHOES!!! Those will go with anything! Mr. Curt is such a sweetie! Everytime I go to O'Nails, I get OPI Cajun Shrimp on my toes :) Have a great rest of the week!

  2. I have used this brush for years and recently had to buy another one....sadly I paid a lot more tan $3.99 for it! Its a great brush.
