When pondering on what to name my blog.... I thought & thought.... and the color yellow came to me!! A dear friend that has gone to be with the Lord (the color yellow that reminds US of her beautiful and bright smile) gave me the inspiration for the theme . In memory of a wonderful friend.

Dreams Do Come True

As I promised to start blogging in detail the description of the wedding! Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. I seriously would not have wanted the whole weekend to be any different... :)
(There will be more pictures to come...My cousin (amazing photographer from D.C.) took my photos and she is currently editing them, so you will have to bare with me because I am limited at this point)

*You can check out her photography at Images By Tiffany (she is originally from Alabama so if any of you fall in love with her style... I know she is willing to travel :)

I decided to start with my dress, veil, bridesmaids dresses and earrings!!!

My Dress
The bride wore a slim one-shoulder, A-line gown with sweetheart neckline and crystal button closures.  Embellishments danced across the neckline and dramatic v-back in a soft, yet striking Italian lace gown that featured a distinctive floral shoulder strap in a beautiful oyster hue.

So any of you who know me... I LOVE one shoulder ANYTHING. Every since I can remember I have had a complete obsession with the one shoulder style. So, when it came time to find my wedding dress I immediately knew ... IT HAD TO BE ONE SHOULDER.

My mother took this photo (yes my family is full of photographers) ... this was my bridal portrait (my mom order a large full length canvas and it was displayed on a beautiful easel next to cake table)

*Check out my mothers photography website Photography By Sara (she lives in Ozark, AL and travels also) I do believe her most recent pictures are on Facebook and you can find her under Photography By Sara Dunn

VEIL
The bride wore a fingertip veil of Italian lace embellished with Swarovski crystals and pearls.

Beautiful Bridesmaids Dresses and Earrings
The bridesmaids wore one-shoulder, A-line dresses of black chiffon with a cluster of flowers that spilled over the shoulder with an adorned ruched bodice.  (Bill Levkoff)

I am a bit partial, but I do believe that I have the most beautiful bridesmaid possible!!!! I love each and everyone of them to the moon and back. Also, I knew that I wanted my bridesmaids to have a dress that match the theme of mine...so what better than this beautiful ONE SHOULDER gown :)

CAUGHT Y'ALL... they were sneaking a peak as J.Jay saw me for the 1st time :)

Meet the Girls :)  As you begin to follow my blog I am sure that you will hear me mention all these girls names...so take the chance to meet them!!!

I love all you so much and I MISS YOU!!!!  In sweet memory of our BRITTANY ...isn't she just the most beautiful person you have seen?

Bridesmaids Earrings
The bridesmaids wore beautiful PEACOCK FEATHER earrings. Peacock Feathers were the accent for the wedding theme. So, I thought what better way to tie in the theme than to get the girls peacock feather earrings!!

I found these earrings on ETSY.com  (searched for ever) I found a designer - MountianMan Creations and told him what I was looking for and he came up with these.

I hope you have enjoyed this much...tomorrow will be more!!!

ONE MORE THING!

My parents gave me a canvas to hang on my wall when moving off to Auburn and I still have this canvas today hanging in our new home!!! It is something that I looked at everyday and asked my self... but, after everything that all of US have gone through in this past month. If one thing I have learned, it is to never take life for granted.... enjoy each day to the fullest!!!!

So I encourage you to ask your self this everyday....don't ever cut your self short!! If you ever have had a dream of doing something work hard to find out what you can do to pursue that dream! God is always there for us to listen to our dreams and goals and he walks by our side and guides us in the right directions to obtain these goals and dreams!!!!

Have a blessed day!!! I am heading back home, the honeymooners are on their way home!!!
