Easter is my favorite time of year.... a CELEBRATION of JESUS!!!... a NEW BEGINNING.... a time for FAMILY... beautiful SPRING weather... everyone dressed in BRIGHT COLORS for Easter Sunday :)

As you all may know my close friends and I have suffered a loss of BEST FRIEND recently and through all the struggles that we have experienced we always find the strength from the Lord to know that Brittany is celebrating in Heaven!!!
I ask that all of you please continue to LIFT UP two very special families, The Shepard and Pugh Families in your thoughts and prayers...
Yesterday I heard a song for the 1st time & J.Jay could not believe that I had never heard this popular Alan Jackson song....but, after listening to it ... God gave me the answer!!! He was saving this song for me to hear to help me understand... and now it just brings a smile to my face when I think of BEAUTIFUL BRITTANY AND HER BABY SHEP, because I know "she's smiling saying, don't worry bout' me" God is comforting Brittany and Shep!!!

ReplyDeleteWhen you said that it was a song by Alan Jackson, I knew immediately what it was. I heard that same song shortly after my grandmother passed away. This post definitely brought tears to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteAnother song that is so sweet is "If I Die Young" by the Band Perry. It came out right before our friend Luther passed. I bought the CD I love them so much =)
And you have the best sense of fashion! Love the dress and shoe choice. I told Colby last night that you guys were going to be in town and to CALL J.Jay.

ReplyDeleteBrenna... don't you just LOVE that dress :) I couldn't believe that I had never heard that song, because I love Alan Jackson...but I guess God's plan is really greater than we can imagine...because he was saving for this time in my life and all my close friends!!!
Just stumbled across this blog and come to find out I know who it is. HAHA!! Small world! :) Your blog is great and I look forward to reading more. After months of trying to figure out the best way to go about blogging I have jumped on the bandwagon as well. I think it may become addictive. :)
